 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone.

Assignments for 1984 -- I gave you a Reading Response Journal to record details from the novel.  For each reading assignment, you will record three parts that caught your attention.  NOTE:  Keep up with the assignments.

You have read Chapter 8and have recorded three parts.  You now have 24 responses. 

HOMEWORK:  I will give you time tonight to catch up with the reading and responses if you need to do so. QUIZ TOMORROW on Part One of 1984.
