Good Morning!
Please put your cell phone out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. Put the phone away WHEN THE BELL RINGS.  You may take it out when the bell rings at the end of the period and not before.

Assignments for 1984 -- I gave you a Reading Response Journal to record details from the novel.  For each reading assignment, you will record three parts that caught your attention.  NOTE:  Keep up with the assignments. Have this Response Journal with you each day in class.

NOTE: Have your book and response journal in class each day.

1984, Part Two, Chapter 9 --We will go on to the next chapter after recording three parts to Chapter 9.  

NOTE: Quiz tomorrow on Part Two.
