3.  Module #2:  "Three Ways to Persuade" --  I read this text with you yesterday.  To reinforce the ideas, read again on your own and annotate in the margin for main ideas.  I will then collect.

3.  Module #2:  "The Rhetoric of the Op-Ed Page: Ethos, Logos, and Pathos" -- I will pass out to your the packet for this module.  

4.  Activity #1 --  In your Writer's Journal respond to "Getting Ready to Read."    What do the three terms "ethos, " "logos," and "pathos" mean?  We will read "Three Ways to Persuade" together.
