Period 4:  Federal Survey Cards 

1.  Independent Reading --  Please read for 10 minutes.

2. "A Change of Heart About Animals"  --  We will finish
     discussion  of Activity #5 -- Making Predictions and Asking 
     Questions  (Respond to the questions in your WRITER'S 
     JOURNAL)

 3.  Record the vocabulary to "Change of Heart About Animals"
      in your WRITER'S JOURNAL

4.  Reading "A Change of Heart About Animals"  -- Read through without questioning the text the first time. We will then read the text a second time together and annotate.

HOMEWORK:  Independent Reading
