1.  Independent Reading --  Please have your reading for the second six weeks on Monday.   Make your selection of a new independent reading book and bring it to class each day.  Please take this requirement seriously and have deep respect for your learning by doing so. 

2.  Yesterday you wrote about a time in which you used persuasion  (Activity #1, Option #1).  Please look at Activity #3 with me -- we will simply read it together to understand more about persuasion.
We will do the same for activities #4 & #5. Please follow along. I do not think it is necessary to respond in writing to these activities . . . unless you insist.
