1.  Independent Reading -- Today is the first day of the second six weeks.  Make your selection of a new independent reading book and bring it to class each day.  Please take this requirement seriously and have deep respect for your learning by doing so.  Writing a book review should be an enjoyable activity and not a chore because you have invested something of yourself in the reading of the book you have chosen (or one would hope that).  

2. Fully completed Personal Essay is due tomorrow.  Today, continue working on it and very carefully proofread for errors. I see that some of you still have quite a bit to do.  Tomorrow we will peer edit.  We will be starting the next module of ERWC immediately following completion of the essay.
