Good Morning!
      Please get your assigned netbook when you arrive. 

NOTE:  Keep your CELL PHONE put away for the entire period or it will be confiscated.

*You have created a new document in Google Docs and you have named it Period __ Personal Essay.  You have also shared it with me (abaltrushes@gmail.com).

TODAY, you will continue working quietly on composing your essay.  Use the time that I am offering.  Completed draft due TUESDAY of next week.  We will then peer edit.

Personal Essay or Letter of Introduction:

1. Describe the world you come from -- for example, your family, community or school -- and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

2.  Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution, or experience that is important to you.  What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?
