1.  Independent Reading -- Please have your independent reading book out and read for approximately 10 minutes.

NOTE:  Senior Quote -- You may turn it into me, and I will deliver it to Ms. Fulcher.   DUE BY OCT 14 but turn it in sooner!

2. Jigsaw Reading of Four Articles:Yesterday you read and wrote a report on your assigned article.  Today you will inform the class about your article -- and you will do so thoroughly.  The following is what you will include:


                        * A brief summary of the document's argument
                        * Important quotes or information
                        * An explanation of what you think is important 
                           about the document.

NOTE:  You have also recorded this report in your WRITER'S JOURNAL
